The mood around Arsenal football club as a whole seems to be quite good at the moment despite three tricky games on the horizon. With three wins in three in the last seven days, all seems to be going well with the narrow win in the Carabao Cup made possible via two late goals from Academy product, Eddie Nketiah.

Every news outlet now seems to be focusing on the youngster an it seems as though the club has decided to reward his hard work with a new contract.

According to the The Sun his current contract expires in 2019 and the club wants to tie him down to a long term contract. He has been in impressive form since last season in the Youth League, his 24 goals impressed everyone in the managerial team.

With his blistering pace and goal scoring accuracy, he is being touted as one to watch at The Emirates.

Nketiah is set to follow in the footsteps of Alex Iwobi and work his way up to make his name in the famous red and white shirt.
