Arda Turan joined Barcelona from Atletico Madrid in 2015 for £24m, and after a brilliant spell with the La Liga giants netting 13 goals in the league is now struggling to get first team minutes with Camp Nou outfit.
Turan hasn’t appeared this season and has been suffering from lengthy injury lay offs since his move and this has obviously affected his chances of being selected and it’s now thought that the new Barcelona coach, Ernesto Valverde has told the Turkish international to look for another club.
According to Lluis Miguelsanz of Spanish newspaper Sport, the Turkish international will therefore be allowed to leave if he can get himself fit by January. Despite the injury worry, Turan’s vast experience could be a plus for Arsenal and his goals and assists would add value to any Premier League side but a move would hinge on the Sanchez/Ozil situation and what they both decide to do.
Turan has been a long time target of Arsene Wenger and the Frenchman could finally get him in January for a bargain price, perhaps a short term solution if Sanchez and/or Ozil do decide to leave in the new year.

Ex-Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen has also been told he can leave Barcelona to try and get himself a place at the World Cup in Russia next season according to the same article who claim a loan deal would be considered should his destination club cover his wages.
