Arsene Wenger has had a busy day with the AGM meeting thing earlier and the League Cup draw just made, he’s also given an update ahead of our game at home against Swansea this weekend.
He announced that Shkodran Mustafi is available after missing a few weeks due to his injury picked up on international duty with Germany. He also said Calum Chambers is back in full training and and David Ospina are both close to returning but it looks more likely they’ll sit out the game anyway and return for the Europa Cup game next week.
He said everyone who played on Tuesday are available and that Eddie Nketiah could play after his heroics in midweek, saying he’d ‘continue to get a chance’. Full interview on the official club site here.
Danny Welbeck and Santi Cazorla still remain sidelined for the foreseeable future, with Santi not back until the new year.
We face Swansea at home Saturday, 3pm kick off before we play Red Star next Thursday then play Man City next weekend which promises to be a cracker.
