PSG striker Julian Draxler looks almost certain to leave the French giants in January and after a cryptic Instagram post it looks increasingly likely he could be heading to Arsenal.

With many seeing him as a direct replacement for his fellow countryman, Mesut Ozil, he could be on his way to the Emirates after several years worth of rumours kinking him to a move to The Emirates Stadium.

Ozil has less than nine months left on his contract and has is showing no sign of putting pen to paper and the situation is the same with Alexis Sanchez, both players looking likely to leave The Emirates when, or even before their contracts expire in 2018.

Both players will be available on a free come next summer and Arsenal have finally decided to sell them in January according to John Cross of the The Mirror.

Draxler’s latest post about Arsenal’s Saed Kolasinac’s shirt on social media has suggested that Arsenal will be his next destination, the post has now been deleted, but this tweet has screengrabbed the original:

Draxler was touted to leave PSG after Neymar and Mbappe arrived at the club, but a move didn’t materialise. A move out of the Parc de Princes has to happen if he wants to make it to Russia 2018 with Germany and the player needs to play.

This will be a good addition for the Gunners at this period in time and what Arsene Wenger has to do is go all out and get Draxler, If we go back in for Thomas Lemar as well, this should appease most Arsenal fans already furious at the club for allowing Ozil and Sanchez’s contracts to run down and at the generally poor way our club is being in at this moment in time.
