Adrien Rabiot is yet to sign a contract extension with PSG and a new deal has not even been discussed which has alerted Premier League giants Arsenal as well as Inter Milan, Tottenham and Liverpool.

Talksport via Calciomercato reveal that discussions have not yet begun despite the French club being keen to extend Rabiot’s current deal beyond 2019 meaning the player could be stalling and open to a move.

Inter Milan are hoping to sign the player as well despite the fact that PSG are keen to keep Rabiot on their books as a homegrown asset and want to tie him down as soon as possible.

Rabiot, still only 22 has played in all of PSG’s league games this season but he is said to be unhappy at his role as holding midfielder despite 2 goals and 2 assists in 12 games in all competitions.

It’s thought that he wants to play in more of an attacking role which could mean he’d be open to a move if he remains unhappy in Paris and Arsenal have been interested in signing Rabiot before. Arsene Wenger was rumoured to have been ready to make a bid back in the January of 2016 but a deal never materialised.

These rumours are all a bit far fetched with two years still to run in on his deal meaning there’s no real reason for talks to begin just yet anyway, but who knows with a world cup coming up, Rabiot could be keen to move and put himself in the shop window to get his place assured for Russia 2018.
