With the news of Mustafi’s injury this week, with claims he could miss our next SEVEN games, the last thing we wanted to see this interlull was Sead Kolasinac being injured as well.
Well, guess what? That’s what happened last night during Bosnia’s game against Estonia on Tuesday as the Bosnians blew their spot at next summer’s World Cup.
It didn’t look good when Kolasinac was subbed at half time but it’s yet known whether or not the defender will miss any Arsenal games or if it was just a precautionary measure.
It’s thought that he could be out of the Watford game, and Laurent Koscielny could also miss the game, so along with Mustafi, this means another makeshift defence against an in-form Hornets.
It sounds like Ozil (some positive news on his contract here) and Welbeck could be back for the game, but let’s wait until Wenger’s weekly presser to find out for sure.
The Daily Mirror claimed today that Mustafi could miss games against Watford and the next six after that meaning he’d be out until the Spurs game in November. I am not sure where they have got this from as there have been no more announcements about his injury so let’s see what AW has to say later this week.
