Despite the recent closure of the summer window and the January transfer window still two months away, clubs are already said to be starting to look at bringing in new players.

We are said to have offered €15million for Trabzonspor attacking midfielder Yusuf Yazici, according to Gunebakis.com.

Trabzonspor president Muharrem Usta has admitted receiving bids for the player and is quoted by Bein Sports via 61saat.com as saying: “Our stars Yusuf [Yazici] and Abdul Qadir have been offered serious [proposals] from three European clubs, but we do not intend to sell…”

Gunebakis is reporting that one of the offers is from Arsenal while the other two are said to be from Monaco and Benfica. However the bids were not accepted with the club holding out for a fee of over €20m.

20-year-old Yazici has been touted as one of the most promising midfielders around at the moment, a left footed player that could be a future number 10, even a straight replacement for Mesut Ozil.

He has already had a good start to the season with a tally of seven appearances and has banged in two goals already.
