In the deepest, darkest catacombs of the deepest darkest interlull, there is a chink of light to bring the tiniest speck of hope to the most miserable of Arsenal fans.

With over a week to go until Arsenal play again, there is some great injury news coming out of The Emirates this evening.

Mesut Ozil, Danny Welbeck and Francis Coquelin are all set to return from injury and hope to be fit for our Saturday evening clash with Watford next weekend. Martin Keown thinks that Mesut Ozil could well be leaving Arsenal soon, and has already left in his head – read more here.

Coquelin is back in full training after his recent hamstring injury with Welbeck and Ozil are set to join up with the rest of the squad next Monday so should be ready for the Watford game.

Welbeck picked up a groin injury during our 0-0 draw at Chelsea while Mesut Ozil has been carrying some inflammation of the knee for a few weeks, despite a 10 minute cameo appearance against West Brom last Monday.

Alexis Sanchez, also at the centre of an injury scare has trained with Chile despite rumours that he wouldn’t be able to meaning, Santi Cazorla aside, Arsene Wenger could be blessed with an all but one (two if you count Koscielny) full squad to choose from for the Watford game.
