After a botched last minute attempt to leave Arsenal, it’s almost certain this season will be Alexis Sanchez’s last at the Emirates. Arsene Wenger is sure to try to find a way to make the best out of any deal that will take the Chilean out of the Emirates which could mean cashing in during the January transfer window before losing him on a free in the summer.
According to reports in The Metro, Wenger is still keen to sign Julian Draxler and any attempt by PSG to get Sanchez in January could well now involve a swap deal which will involve the German going to The Emirates.
The Arsenal boss has tried several times in the past to sign Draxler during the striker’s time at Schalke but failed. With the arrival of Mbappe and Neymar at PSG, he has been limited to just a cameo appearance for the Paris club and they are now willing to listen to offers for Draxler, according to The Daily Star.
Arsenal are not willing to let Sanchez leave on a free and will want to make some cash from his sale. After scoring 30 goals last season for the Gunners and it’s thought that the Chilean will want to make a move to where he feels he can win more trophies and compete in the Champions league after his efforts last season weren’t enough to get us into the competition.
Manchester City, PSG, Manchester United and AC Milan are all said to be interested in Sanchez, but it is thought the player may prefer a switch to Paris.
