Isco was the star for Spain last weekend as they secured automatic qualification to the 2018 World Cup with an impressive 3-0 win against Italy and his stellar performance did not go unnoticed by Arsenal fans.

The 2010 World Cup winners started the match without a recognised striker and the 25-year-old was dominating the midfield and he certainly didn’t let Spanish fans down by scoring twice in the match.

The Spanish playmaker cracked a brilliant free-kick past Gianluigi Buffon in the 13th minute and then increased Spain’s advantage with another strike from outside the penalty area five minutes before half time. Chelsea’s new big money striker Alvaro Morata added to Isco’s brace by scoring in the 72th minute to put Spain 3 goals to the good, read about how the drama unfolded on Sky Sports.

Isco’s performance at his club Real Madrid has been nothing short brilliant of late, contributing greatly in helping the Los Blancos outfit win the Champions League three times and the title once which confirms him to be an hero of the club.

Arsenal fans were quick to start a discussion on Isco’s performance via Twitter and some believe that he would be the perfect successor to Santi Cazorla when the time comes for the Spaniard to move on (sob!).
