Arsenal.com are reporting that the deal is done for Bosnian international Sead Kolasinac.

The left back will join us on a long term deal, on a free transfer after his current deal at Schalke 04 expired. Kolasinac played over 100 games for Schalke and was chosen as the best left back in the Bundesliga last season.

It’s thought that Chelsea and Everton were both tracking the player who was happy to join Arsenal now that Arsene Wenger’s future has been decided, not sure if you heard but our French manager signed a new two year deal last week.

The move should prove interesting with the in-form Nacho Monreal already Wenger’s first choice at left back, while it looks to spell the end of the road for Keiran Gibbs who could be off to newly-promoted Newcastle in a deal thought to be worth around £15m.

There are rumours of a huge big bid for Monaco’s 18 year old Kylian Mbappe and a move for Nigerian Henry Onyekuru was denied last week, so the exciting summer continues as The Europa League beckons.

Welcome to Sead the Gooner, and judging by these stats, provided by KickOff.co.uk – we’re getting ourselves a absolute bargain of a Bosnian!
