Santi Cazorla’s comeback has been dealt yet another blow as the player revealed he is still out for at least another FIVE months.

Cazorla made a rare public appearance on Saturday, on the pitch after our amazing 2-1 FA Cup Final win over Chelsea, but it’s been revealed he is still a long way off of coming back to play in red and white.

The Express report that he has said that he has had several setbacks including a bacterial infection picked up in hospital, along with a skin graft, and isn’t even looking at deadlines at this point.

Cazorla said:

“It’s been a difficult season, since I last played in November, I’ve been through surgery eight times, the last one yesterday, and hopefully everything will go well. I have had complications: I picked up bacteria in the operating room, the bone got an infection, the scar did not close and I had a skin graft.

“I have not been told deadlines, it is very difficult to put exact dates, but I don’t think it will be more than five months…”
Get well soon Santi!
