Most newspapers and online sources are quoting the story that Arsene Wenger has agreed a new two year deal, and will remain at Arsenal for at least two more seasons.

There were also rumours of huge new deals to keep Ozil and Sanchez at the club on long term deals today as well.

The Arsenal oracle (or Ceefax) as he’s know, David Ornstein tweeted the news earlier today and you can read all about it here, with everything to be confirmed this week, most likely on Wednesday.

Despite finishing waaaay down in 5th place (above Jose Mourinho’s Man United) and winning the FA Cup this weekend, the season will be deemed a dismal failure by many Arsenal fans. We finished below Liverpool, Man City, Spurs and Chelsea in the league, and at the end of the season, we found ourselves a whopping 18 points off the pace, below Spurs and outside of the top four for the first time in over 20 years.

It’s thought Wenger will be allowed to spend, spend, spend to try and get the club back to where we belong, i.e. fourth place, next season.

More news once it’s confirmed.
