Officials from Fenerbahce have apparently sent their representative to London to open talks with David Ospina on a possible transfer to the Turkish club, according to a report from The Daily Star.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper has been linked with a move away from The Emirates, as he has failed to make it into sir Wenger’s first team plan ahead of Petr Cech this term.
It’s thought that the Turkish outfit has sent their representatives to discuss over a move away from Emirates and Ospina also confirmed that:
“I told my club that I want to go to a team where I’ll play regularly. They know my intention. If the right offer comes, then I’ll happily come to Turkey. My agent is taking care of transfer business. In fact, I’m happy at Arsenal but I have to play regularly. I told them exactly that. Arsenal’s board told me they will not be making things difficult for me if the right offer comes in. Let’s see what the future brings…”
The news outlet further reported that he has been offered a four-year contract by Fenerbahce, so it yet to be seen whether a move will be completed or he will remain at Arsenal next season and fight for his place.
