Manchester United are set to complete the signing of Arsenal target James Rodriguez this summer, according to a report from Diario Gol.

The Premier League giants, who drew 0-0 with Manchester City yesterday, have been strongly been linked with a move to sign the Colombian international ahead of next season to strengthen their attacking options.

Rodriguez, 25, performances have been nothing short of brilliant for a couple of seasons now and he has managed to win 54 international caps for Colombia and domestically, he’s scored 9 goals and made 13 assists in just 29 appearances for Madrid this term.

Rodriguez joined Real from Monaco in the summer of 2014, following a brilliant display at the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals and could now be set to move to the Premier League to join the Red Devils.

The likes of Arsenal and Chelsea have all also shown a keen interest in landing him, but it now sound the two London sides have missed out, and he’s close to completing a move to join Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.

They further reported that Rodriguez has set up an agreement with his agent, Jorge Mendes, to make sure a move to Old Trafford gets finalised, including getting him dual citizenship documents to ease the move.

Personally, I think the signature of Rodriguez will make a lot of sense for United as he will bring the Madrid winning mentally which will help them to challenge for the title next season.
