After a brilliant start of the season, Arsenal have fallen away recently, and despite this weekends amazing semi-final win, we are still struggling to maintain our top four spot.

Reports say that we are already closing in to complete the first summer transfer, with Bosnian international Sead Kolasinac top of manager Arsene Wenger’s summer shopping list.

The chance of Arsenal landing the player now looks possible has his contract with his present club will be end at the end of June.

Early last week, The Daily Mail claimed that Arsenal had already agreed personal terms with the Bosnian international and now the latest report from Mirror claim Wenger confirms that Arsenal will win the race to sign him when the window finally opens, fighting off competition from both Chelsea and Juventus.

Kolasinac recent performances have been nothing short of brilliant this season for Schalke, netting 3 goals and providing 9 assists in 32 games for his club, he plays naturally on the left hand side of the defence but has recently been playing left midfield.

Personally I think it will makes sense landing Kolasinac, as he will be perfect competition for the left back slot with Nacho Monreal, however this appointment could spell the end for Kieran Gibbs.
