With our season hanging on a knife edge, the sight of Sergio Aguero bearing down on you at Wembley isn’t something which our hapless defenders will be looking forward to on Sunday. There are rumours that Gabriel Jesus could make his comeback in the game and will travel to Wembley (why always us?), in slightly better news however, defender John Stones will miss the game for City.
We have our own injury problems as well, with David Ospina, Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez all missing for the game. Rumours are that AW will employ the three at the back system which he used away at Middlesbrough, our first league win in weeks, but we’ll see what the under-fire Frenchman decides on Sunday, we’ll also know who we’ll face by then, the other semi-final kicking off on Saturday evening.
We also play Leicester next week at home in a bid to haul ourselves up the league table and end the season with a bit of pride at least, and it more positive news, it looks like we may have made our first signing on the rebuild job.
