Reports in The Mirror claim, Alexis Sanchez is willing to stay at Arsenal for one more season, and see if The Gunners will match his ambition by signing quality players that will turn the club into serious challengers for the major trophies.

Sanchez has been phenomenal yet again this season, contributing 18 goals and 9 assists in the Premier League, yet his teammates have not upped the ante alongside him, consistently delivering mediocre performances to frustrate his efforts for most of the season.

All efforts by the Arsenal hierarchy to see Sanchez commit to the club thus far has proved futile, with the Chilean looking increasing frustrated that his efforts is not been matched by an array of quality players at the disposal of the club.

Arsenal are currently 5th, seemingly out of the Champions League places, and suffered a scandalous defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich in the Champions League first knockout round.

The 28-year-old striker is loved by the fans for his workaholic attitude on the pitch, but he feels at 28, he deserves to be getting chances of winning the major trophies and that may not happen at Arsenal if the current mood isn’t improved around The Emirates.

Chelsea have been linked to the former Barcelona man who has said he prefers living in London, but playing for a team that has the will to fight. Under Antonio Conte this season, Chelsea have blown away the rest of the division away so Sanchez may run down his contract and then move to Chelsea next summer if the same story of mediocrity happens next season in North London
