A report in The Metro claim that Arsenal are ready to listen to offers from Barcelona for marauding right back, Hector Bellerin. The 22-year-old defender has long been a target of the Spanish giants, Barcelona who see their former youth product as the solution to their right back difficulties.

In light of this, it is reported that Arsenal have placed a mammoth £42m price tag on the Spanish international, in the hope that the fee will deter all potential suitors.

Bellerin has grown leaps and bounds since breaking into the Arsenal first team back in 204/15 and has long been linked to a return to his boyhood club, Barcelona.

The Catalan giants are looking at a long term replacement for legendary right back, Dani Alves whole left the club last summer for a new adventure with Juventus.

The player has hinted that he will welcome a move back to Spain, but the special relationship between player and boss, Arsene Wenger is believed to be a stumbling block to any hope of the 5-time Champions League winners signing him.

Bellerin is a Spanish international who is noted for his speed, attacking prowess and excellent defensive contribution, he has already made over 100 appearances for the North London outfit.
