Mesut Ozil was missing from training today, fuelling the rumours that he may miss the Liverpool game this weekend. There were rumours earlier in the week that Ozil was sent home with an illness, but Arsene Wenger then said the player ‘should be ok’ but his omission from training doesn’t look like a good sign as we cling on to what’s left of our season.

In better news, Aaron J. Ramsey should be back in the squad again after coming off injured against Watford last month, while Mo’neny is now going to be out for three weeks due to an injury picked up during our win over Sutton in the FA Cup, Arsene Wenger confirmed today.

Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud should both be in contention, while everyone else should be ok for our 5:30pm game at Anfield this Saturday. We haven’t had a game since the Sutton win last Monday, so there should be plenty of fresh legs ahead of the game.

Liverpool will be missing their captain Jordan Henderson due to an injury which kept him out of the defeat on the road at Leicester this week.
