Reports in The Metro reckon that Arsenal had scouts watching Torino star Andrea Belotti score both goals as the Italians drew 2-2 with Fiorentina on Monday.
Belotti earned Torino a point with his two goals after Nikola Kalinic and Riccardo Saponara gave Fiorentina a two-goal lead in the first half.
The Italian, who has a reported release clause worth €100 million (£86m), is one striker capable of improving the Gunners’ attack, and Arsene Wenger has long been a fan of Belotti.
Torino sporting director Gianluca Petrachi confirmed that we failed with a £56m bid for the ace during the winter transfer window, but it now seems as though Arsenal are keen to try their luck once again as Sanchez looks unlikely to extend his stay into next season, with a report in the media saying that the Chilean international is getting set for a return to Spain in the summer, so Wenger will have to begin looking elsewhere to replace him.
The Metro further stated the player has also been linked with a move to join Chelsea, so Wenger will have to move fast if he wants to win the race to land the ace.
