As we prepare to face Bayern Munich this evening in Germany, we’ve been hit with the news from the media that striker Lucas Perez will be out of tonight’s match.

The Spanish international missed yesterday’s training session due to a hamstring problem and a report from The Daily Mirror says he will definitely be out of tonight’s match and didn’t travel to Germany, however it is thought that it’s nothing too serious and he should be back in time to face Sutton next Monday in our 5th round FA Cup tie.

It’s thought that Arsene Wenger should have enough cover up top, with the likes of Danny Welbeck, Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud all fit and ready for the game.

The Spanish international joined Arsenal during the summer transfer window for a fee worth £17.1 million and has already scored 6 goals, from limited appearances for the club.

It’s also thought that Aaron Ramsey is also out of the game, the Welsh international joining Santi Cazorla on the injury list earlier this month.

Granit Xhaka is eligible to play following his 4 match domestic ban, while Bayern will be without Franck Ribery and Jerome Boateng, they were also meant to be without Xabi Alonso, but the Former Real Madrid ace unfortunately (for us) recovered from a knee injury in time to play in the game which kicks off at 7:45pm tonight (UK Time), live on BT Sport.
