Top clubs in the Premier League have strongly been linked with a move to sign Lazio defender Stefan De Vrij in the summer transfer window.

A report in the Lazio Press via GdS yesterday claim that De Vrij will be leaving the Serie A side next summer and the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea are all showing a keen interest for his signature.

Now, the latest report claims that the Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has also joined the list of managers who are showing interest in sign the Dutch international with the likes of Conte and Mourinho who are looking to land the €40 million rated ace.

I personally think it was his dazzling footwork during the 2014 FIFA World Cup under the management of Louis van Gaal that made his name, and has now got several top clubs, and Manchester United showing an interest in signing him.

The ace joined Lazio from Feyenoord during the transfer of 2014–15 and his deal with the Serie A outfit expires next year and it’s been confirmed that he won’t be putting pen to paper on a deal.

However, Wenger did a great job during the previous window as he managed to bring Shkodran Mustafi to The Emirates who  has made Arsenal’s defence rock-solid this season and is yet to taste defeat in an Arsenal shirt.

No one knows the truth behind the report, but it remains to be seen if Wenger will land the ace ahead the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea this summer.
