According to a report in The Daily Star, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been given the chance to send Jon Toral on a loan to Rangers to go gain some first team experience.
The news outlet further reports that Rangers chiefs want to unveil the ace tomorrow as part of a double deal.
Toral had to return back to The Emirates from Spanish side Granada after a frustrating loan spell with the Spanish club, and it’s thought that Arsene Wenger believes the immediate loan transfer will benefit the 21-year-old, he said, when asked if the move would favour Toral:
“Yes, because he has played games there [for Granada] but at the moment he doesn’t play and personally I think it would be a good transition for him.”
I personally think Wenger knows what he is talking about as it is widely believed that so many young players benefit from loan spells where they are playing every game.
