Arsene Wenger is looking to bring in a couple of players this month to help strengthen the squad and Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic is top of the French manager’s shopping list according to reports.

An article from The Sun claims that Wenger has personally called the ace and asked if he would be interested in joining Arsenal and the Bosnian international sounded interested and both parties are working to secure an agreement, Juventus, however, look unwilling to let the ace go.

I don’t personally think Wenger will be interested in doing much business this winter window but the news outlet claims Arsenal are set to offer a deal worth £28 million to test the water.

It’s thought that he could be the long term replacement for Santi Cazorla who is currently still injured and could leave Arsenal this summer according to some rumours flying around.

Another rumour to be taken with a pinch of salt…
