After a few problems on the road, Arsenal are currently out of the Premier League top four and manager Arsene Wenger needs to take the advantage of the winter  transfer window to bring some quality players to The Emirates to help reinforce his squad.

A report from The Sun claims that manager Arsene Wenger has already confirmed that Arsenal won’t be doing lot of business in this winter transfer window, despite already securing the signature of Cohen Bramall from Hednesford Town for around £40,000.

They further report that the Gunners French manager is now setting his gaze on 23-year-old Italian international Andrea Belotti, a news outlet from Italy said, as quoted by the Sun:

“Arsenal have an option for Belotti from Torino, and he is available for 60m Euros. That is to get him now before any other teams come in for him, but Arsenal will not pay that amount just yet. They will wait to see what happens with him this season, and think about moving for him again in the summer.”

However, Belotti’s club Torino has seemingly scared Arsenal away, slapping a £50 million price tag on the young striker.

Belotti will contribute greatly to Arsenal’s attack as he has managed to net 25 goals in just 51 matches for Torino and his pace, clever movement, brilliant technique and top-quality finishing would make him the perfect foil for Ozil’s vision in the final third.

His dazzling footwork has also caught the attention of the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona this season, so if Arsenal do have an option on the player, we will have to push ahead for a deal fast if they want to secure his signature.

I personally think Arsenal will be the club he will join if he leaves Torino, so watch this space…
