Arsenal are close to unveiling our first winter signing of the season, as reports in the media claim defender Cohen Bramall has passed a medical at The Emirates and it thought that a deal is expected to be announced tonight.

The report from Sky Sports claims that the 20-year-old ace is closing in on completing a two and a half year deal, and he has already trained with Arsenal and passed his medical.

The deal is thought to be worth around £40,000 to his current club Hednesford Town and he will begin fighting for the left back berth with Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs.

Monreal is in his early thirties, while Gibbs is unsettled under manager Arsene Wenger, so the arrival of Bramall will only serve to keep these two on their toes.
