According to a report in Daily Star, Arsenal have persuaded youngster Reiss Nelson to put pen to paper on a new deal at The Emirates.
It’s widely believed that manager Arsene Wenger believes in youngsters, Nelson has been playing for Arsenal since the age of seven.
Nelson’s performances of late have been pretty brilliant and he has managed to secure a first team place in Arsenal’s under-23 side.
The ace will now be looking to graduate to Arsenal’s first squad after he has signed a new contract and the club have congratulated him with his new pro deal at the Emirates.
They said:
“We would like to congratulate Reiss on his deal and look forward to his continued progress with the club…”
The 17-year-old plays on the wing for Arsenal and is there seems to be little doubt that his next stop is Sir Wenger’s senior squad.
