Arsenal target James Rodriguez has fuelled the rumors of him moving away from Spain, a report from the Sun claims the ace has admitted that his time with Real Madrid could be over.

They further report the Colombian international could be a replacement for unsettled Brazilian midfielder Oscar,  who will complete a move to Shanghai SIPG for a deal thought to be worth in excess of £60m. It’s thought that a bid of around £75m should be enough to land Rodriguez, who has confirmed a firm offer has already been made for him.

He said, as quoted by The Sun:

“I can’t promise I will stay at Real Madrid. I have offers and seven days to think [about them].”

The ace whose performances in the 2014 World Cup were nothing short brilliant has been limited to the bench under Real Madrid new manager Zinedine Zidane and he is now looking to leave the Los Blancos outfit to go in search of a first team place elsewhere.

The Sun also reckons that Barcelona hero Lionel Messi had a conversation with Rodriguez during the Argentina’s 3-0 win over Colombia and advised him to move away from the Bernabeu, but despite the rumors and reports, Zidane denies Rodriguez will leave the club:

“He [Rodriguez] is going to stay here.”

It’s understood that Chelsea will face stiff competition from the likes of Manchester United if he finally decides to leave Real Madrid, he was also formerly reported with a move to join Arsenal last season but under-fire Arsene Wenger failed to finalise the deal.
