Aaron Ramsey will still be missing for Arsenal this weekend as we face Man City away, following the surprise defeat away at Everton.

The Welshman is expected back in training next week, and Wenger said:

“I believe he should be back in the squad and in normal training (next week)…”

In some other good, no, let’s say GREAT news, he also admitted Danny Welbeck is also back close to a comeback, and is just one week away from full training and being back in the squad, great timing for our festive fixture bonanza (pile-up). This amazing admission could mean our strike force is now pretty amazing, with Sanchez first choice, then choose from Giroud, Perez and Welbeck as cover/supersubs.

Sanchez contract latest

At the back, Shkodran Mustafi is still missing after his hamstring injury picked up during the win over Stoke, and his unbeaten run remains intact, as he didn’t play in the League Cup defeat to Southampton, and was also missing for the Everton defeat – where both goals came in the guise of headers from crosses, somewhere Mustafi would usually be defending if he wasn’t injured.

Santi Cazorla also remains absent, along with Per Mertesacker,  while Man City themselves will be without several key players including Sergio Aguero, but they will also be keen to get three points on the board at home to us despite fielding a depleted squad.
