Having already secured a deal for Hector Bellerin, manager Arsene Wenger still looking to persuade more first team players to put pen to paper on a new deal at The Emirates.

The main concerns at the moment are keeping hold of the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Francis Coquelin, Mesut Ozil, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Olivier Giroud, and these players are the next in line to sign new contracts, according to report in The Daily Mail.

They report that French international Olivier Giroud will soon be adding another year to his contract at The Emirates, Giroud has been limited to a handful of substitute appearances this season, due to the emergence of Alexis Sanchez as Arsene Wenger’s main striker.

The Daily Mail also report that Francis Coquelin is close to earning double of what he currently makes, increasing his salary to £80,000-a-week, £18.72million ($23.5million) until 2021.

Coquelin’s performances this season have been nothing short of brilliant and continues as the unsung hero, yet one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Arsenal’s Club Secretary has said the new deals for Sanchez and Ozil are ‘going pretty good’ so fingers crossed, we get to hear more about those soon too.
