Mustafi out for 3 Weeks…
Shkodran Mustafi is out for around three weeks after picking up a hamstring injury against Stoke on Saturday. Arsene Wenger said:
“The minimum for that kind of injury is 21 days, that means he will have a nice Christmas…”
Ox to Stay…
Still not a lot of news coming out of Arsene Wenger regarding the new contracts of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, but he has said today that he wants to keep Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at The Emirates.
“I want Oxlade-Chamberlain to stay at the club, this season he is making steps and moving forward. Overall we have invested so much time and work in the player. The player loves it here, he is integrated and has the qualities we want him to have. We want him to stay…”
Jenks Loan Deal?
Rumours afoot that Championship side Aston Villa are after Carl Jenkinson on loan in January.
With Bellerin back from injury, Debuchy injured again and Gabriel makeshift right back, it remains to be seen whether Jenkinson will be allowed to leave after his recent crisis of confidence…
