The games are coming thick and fast now as Christmas approaches, and we have a tricky tie away to Everton tomorrow night (Tuesday) up at Goodison Park. We go into the game on a high after the destruction of the Mordor XI on Saturday, while Everton are licking their toffee flavoured wounds after being stung by the Hornets of Watford on Saturday lunchtime.
There’s good news and bad news ahead of the game …actually it’s just bad news, with Mustafi and Ramsey definitely out of the game. Mustafi pulled up with a hamstring pull on Saturday during the first half of the game against Stoke, and will be out for around three weeks while Aaron Ramsey also missed the game against Stoke and will stay at home as well.
Gabriel will most likely deputise, but we also have Rob Holding as a centre back, while it’s thought Bellerin came through unscathed from the game at the weekend. Wenger said:
“…the other players are still out, we have nobody coming back who wasn’t available on Saturday…”
Other absentees continue to be Debuchy, Akpom, Cazorla, Mertesacker and Welbz – the game is live on BT Sport tomorrow night according to my son, who could be wrong so please check before you get the beers in.
