With Danny Welbeck, Olivier Giroud and Lucas Perez all injured, French manager Arsene Wenger is on the look-out to bring in a striker to fill the void and the report from The Sun claims that Arsene Wenger is set to move for AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca.

So far this season Arsenal have not really been lacking the quality of an elite striker, as Chilean international Alexis Sanchez has been doing a great job filling in for Olivier Giroud up front.

Despite Alexis’ dazzling performances week in, week out, Wenger is still looking to bring in another striker and they report that we have now opened talks to sign Bacca.

No doubt Bacca has pace, clever movement, brilliant technique and his quality finishing would make him the perfect foil for Ozil’s vision in the final third. The 30-year-old attacker has also netted an average one goal every two games in the Italian League and he possesses a winning mentality, winning the Europa League twice with Sevilla.

Wenger has long been linked with a move for Bacca, and it’s thought he tried to sign him in 2015 before he secured a move to AC Milan.

Well, no one can know the truth behind this report, so let’s take this with a pinch of salt and see what happens in January but if the report from The Sun is anything to go by then Bacca looks likely to complete a move to the Emirates in the coming months.
