According to a report from TalkSport, Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea are all vying for the signature of Atalanta ace Mattia Caldara. The player spent most of last season on loan with Trapani and Cesena and the defender is enjoying his term with under Atalanta. He has featured in seven matches for Atalanta, and managed to bag three goals which caught the attention of scouts across Europe.
They claim Juventus are keeping tabs on the defender but now it’s thought that the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are also watching closely. The Serie A side are expected to receive bids for the ace in January, but it’s likely they won’t welcome any low (Arsenal style) bid as he is still under contract until 2021.
This comes following the news that Laurent Koscielny could be set to sign a new deal to remain at The Emirates, following in the footsteps of his teammate, Hector Bellerin, who signed a bumper new deal this week.
