In recent months, rumors have been flying around the media claiming that Arsenal and Chile’s international striker Alexis Sanchez is on the verge of signing a new contract at the Emirates but so far no deal has materialised. The latest report from the ever-reliable Goal claims Sanchez’s future with Arsenal is now in doubt and Juventus and Manchester City are showing keen interest in snatching him from under Arsene Wenger’s French nose.

We are currently fourth in the Premier League table and personally think that Sanchez has done a great job in helping us to get there with 6 goals in just 10 appearances and his performance so far have been nothing short of brilliant.

The report from Goal further reports that Arsenal are now eyeing German international attacker Marco Reus as a replacement for Sanchez should the unthinkable happen and he left The Emirates.

Sanchez joined Arsenal in the summer of 2014/2015 from Barcelona and he has helped  Arsenal to lift the FA Cup twice and he also bagged 13 league goals for Arsenal last season in the Premier League alone.

It’s thought both Juve and City are ready to table a bid for Sanchez but the window the bid is not yet open and as the story is probably made up by Goal.com, it’s very difficult to see how this one will pan out. Personally, I don’t think Sanchez will be departing from North London any time soon so let get our minds off of that and focus on winning the title.
