Following Chilean international Alexis Sanchez’s wonderful display for his national team side in their last friendly match against Uruguay which ended a 3-1 win, his performance has bought many fans to Twitter to laud over his appearances.
Last week, there were rumours that Sanchez was out for four weeks with a serious injury, but the invincible Sanchez patched himself up, First Blood style, was soon back in training, and played against Uruguay for 84 mins and even weighed in with two goals to help Chile to the win. He’s currently swimming back from South America in his Arsenal kit, direct to Manchester where he should run straight off the beach, and onto the pitch for kick-off on Saturday lunchtime.
Arsenal has scored 6 goals in 10 games for Arsenal and since joining from Barcelona in the 2014/15 summer transfer window he has helped us to win two FA Cups, and has scored 50 times in 107 games for his club.
Sanchez’s performance for his national team saw many Arsenal fans on Twitter to air their views on his incredible performance:
Sanchez’s second goal is the one that confirms he’s fit to me. To get a through ball and hold off 2 defenders, you have to be fit
