Nacho Monreal played in Spain’s match against Macedonia on Saturday evening, and Arsenal fans on Twitter were left amazed by his display
The 30-year-old midfielder netted his first goal for Spain as they won their World Cup qualifying group stage game which ended in an emphatic 4-0 victory, a result which left Spain top of their group on goal difference ahead of Italy.

Monreal has featured in most of Arsenal’s matches this season and his performances so far have been nothing short of brilliant, helping us to secure a place in the Premier League top four. We are scheduled to play Manchester United this coming weekend so let’s hope Monreal comes back unscathed, unlike his international team mate Hector Bellerin who is out for at least the whole of November with ankle ligament damage.
