Piers Morgan tweeted his views after Arsenal’s victory over Swansea on Saturday which ended a 3-2 win. The game was not without controversy of course, with Swiss international midfielder Granit Xhaka sent off half way through the second half.

Theo Walcott scored twice to put Arsenal ahead, but Sigurdsson netted his first goal under Bob Bradley to make it 2-1 at half time.

Mesut Ozil, whose birthday it was on Saturday scored the third goal of the day for Arsenal, with an amazing volley from an Alexis pinpoint cross. Substitute Borja Baston scored Swansea’s second as it looked like the curse of Swansea was about to strike again.

To make matters worse, Xhaka had to make a last-ditch tackle to avoid a 4 on 2 situation, and unfortunately saw red, and it was backs to the wall for the rest of the game, Swansea missing numerous chances to pull level.

However, we held on to take all three points which sees us just below Man City in the league table, but a single goal.

Morgan said on Twitter:

This week, it’s back to Champions League action with Ludogorets at The Emirates on Wednesday night, KO 7:45pm VAT (Vic Akers time).
