German international midfielder Mesut Ozil took to social media to confirm that there was nothing to worry about after he was substituted at half-time during Germany’s 2-0 win over Northern Ireland last night.

Recently, Arsenal have had major injury problems and whenever key players such as Ozil, Sanchez and Bentdner have picked up knocks, as an Arsenal fan, it’s natural to fear the worst so it’s always a bonus when things are played down.

The ace confirmed there was nothing to worry about, and said on Twitter last night about the shock substitution:

Losing Ozil to injury is unthinkable at the moment with such a fast pace being set in the league. I think most fans would agree that he’d not be be a huge loss to Arsenal but also the Premier League.

Ozil joined Arsenal from Real Madrid on deadline day in 2013/2014 and since then he’s been one of our stand out players and has helped us to win two FA Cups and many top four finishes (all above Spurs).
