Aaron Ramsey could be back in line for a first team return for the Reading EFL Cup game according to reports.

It sounds like the Swansea game at the weekend will come around too soon for the Welshman, and it’s looking increasingly likely Arsene Wenger will use him in some capacity in our League Cup game at The Emirates on the 25th of October.

Ramsey has been out since the opening day defeat at home to Liverpool with a hamstring injury, but is now back in full training so should be back very soon. We now have an amazing FOUR consecutive home games coming up, including Swansea, Ludogorets, Middlesbrough and Reading, before we visit Sunderland at the end of October.

Per Mertesacker, Chuba Akpom and Danny Welbeck remain our long term injuries, and are both aiming for a comeback before the end of the year.

Meanwhile, we’d be hoping for a return for Coquelin, Giroud, Perez AND Ramsey any day, so fingers crossed for them, we should find out more at Wenger’s Presser this week…
