As is the usual on a matchday, news is limited, but we’ve trawled through the bin-juice of the news rubbish so you don’t have to…

We prepare to face Bendtner’s Nottingham Forest in the League Cup tonight, but as Wenger’s press conference took place yesterday, news is limited to transfer garage ahead of the January window, which is rapidly approaching, only what, 100 odd days away.

Firstly, there are reports that Manchester City are planning to use Agent Arteta to infiltrate The Emirates to prise away two of our most prized assets in Alexis Sanchez and Hector Bellerin.

There were also rumours that Barcelona were said to be back in for Bellerin who will only stay if Wenger stays, and that Sanchez was trying to get himself £200k a week to make him the club’s highest earner, ahead of the £140k earned currently by Ozil and Theo (wait, what?).

The Daily Mail also claim that we are set to let Bellerin leave for £40m, then again they also claim that we are set for -50 degree snowstorms for the next seven months so you get the idea with that one.

U23’s Stuffed…
Our young Gunners lost 5-0 to Everton this week, the table toppers running riot leaving a threadbare Arsenal side licking their wounds.

There were quite a few of our senior junior players training with the first team due to the League Cup tonight.

Legend Returns…
Jeremie Aliadiere has rejoined Lorient on a free transfer, and said:

“I am very happy and motivated to return to the club (even if it was because their striker was suspended for 10 matches). It’s only been two years since I left but I missed FC Lorient. I have always followed the club and its matches…”
