Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey are OUT (in caps) of the League Cup tie at Forest tomorrow night.

Giroud missed the win at Hull with a ‘toe problem’ and Rambo has been missing since a hamstring pull during the Liverpool game in August.

It was hoped that Ramsey could return for the Chelsea game, but it looks like AW will give him a bit longer to fully recover and not risk him until next week at the earliest.

Gabriel is back in full training and could play, and Matt Debuchy is also back in full training, so could give Hector Bellerin, a target for Barcelona (yawn!) a night off in the right back position.

Several youngsters trained with the first team today, and it looks like AW will continue his tradition in the League Cup of fielding a mixture of experience and youth.

Nicklas Bendtner could face his old club, as he’s recently signed for Forest, and said he would celebrate, but not too much if he scored.

He said:

“I will celebrate if I score tomorrow night, but I won’t go crazy, i have a lot of love and respect for Arsenal as a club…”
