Deal close: Arsenal target set to undergo medical within 48 hours – report

The latest report from Italian news outlet football-italia, claim that yet another Arsenal target is on the move, Torino’s Bruno Peres will be undergoing a medical at AS Roma in the next 48 hours.

It’s being reported that a deal for the Torino centre back is due to finalised today in a deal worth in the region of €15-17m depending on bonuses.

It will be a loan deal with a mandatory buy-out clause at the end of the season, with payments made in installments, Torino will also have a 25 per cent share of any future transfer.

The 26-year-old ace is expected to be at Stadio Olimpico for medical in the next day or two, and it’s hoped he can be registered in time for the Champions League play-off against Portuguese club Porto.

The Brazilian international defender joined Torino from Santos in 2014/2015 season and has played a total of 74 appearances in total for the Italian club.

Arsenal are still rumoured to be in talks with Valencia over their German centre back Shkodran Mustafi, and a new name in the hat/ring/ringgy hat today is Southampton’s Jose Fonte, should our bid for Mustafi fail.
