Not Mahrez – Wenger wants to seal the signing of this quality £25m midfielder
Arsenal fans have been demanding some quality signings this summer, and manager Arsene Wenger has tried to make the fans happy by luring Granit Xhaka and Rob Holding to The Emirates.
However, it seems the Arsenal fans still want more, and it looks like Arsene Wenger has been in touch with Inter Milan to discuss a potential deal worth £25m for workaholic midfielder Marcelo Brozovic according to the reports from The Mirror.
It seems likethe Croatian international’s dazzling footwork caught the attention of Wenger, as he was instrumental in helping his side to a top four berth in Serie A last season, and despite Brozovic playing in a similar position to Granit Xhaka, it seems as though Wenger is still keen on the player. However, it’s thought (as usual) that our valuation of the player is around £5m short, with Milan after £30m and we’re rumoured to be offering £25m
As always this rumour should be taken with a pinch of salt, especially given our need for a striker and more pressing need for a proven centre back with the news that Per Mertesacker will miss the US tour with a leg problem, some outlets saying he could be out for up to FIVE months!
