Sanchez reportedly told Wenger to sign this Barcelona attacker
A report from the Spanish news outlet Don Balon claims that Alexis Sanchez has told Arsene Wenger that the Barcelona attacker Arda Turan would be a great signing for the Gunners.
The 29-year-old ace is expected to leave the Nou Camp Stadium this summer after he failed to impress since his move from Atletico Madrid, and Don Balon says they have been told of Sanchez’s admiration and that Arsene Wenger agrees with the Chilean striker and may consider a bid to help bolster his attacking options.
It was further reported that Chelsea are also interested in landing Turan, but will face stiff competition especially from a club who can offer Champions League football, so it seems as though Arsenal would have a better chance of signing him ahead of the Blues who didn’t qualify for the Champions League.
Wenger is looking to pay around £20m for the player but the La Liga club could be demanding as much as £35m for the attacker this summer.
