Defender Joins, Lens Challenge, Manninger Joins Liverpool
Holding Joins – Official…
Rob Holding has all but completed his move to Arsenal, with the news of the youngsters arrival splashed all over Arsenal.com already.
He’s quoted as saying: “It’s something you dream of as a kid, I can’t wait to get started…”
Holding is already an England U21 player, and won the U21 tournament in Toulon alongside his new Arsenal team mate Calum Chambers, it’s rumoured he’ll take the number 16 shirt ahead of the new season, recently vacated by Aaron Ramsey…
Lens Challenge Awaits…

There’s also plenty of first teamers enjoying holidays after their summer tournaments, but the game should be a nice intro back to Arsenal and a decent diversion take our minds off the transfer merry-go-round for a couple of hours!
…and finally…
Liverpool have signed 39 year old Alex Manninger on a short term contract. Manninger was instrumental in our double winning 1998 season, and will be remembered for an amazing performance against West Ham during that season…
