Argentina striker’s agent meets Arsenal as the Gunners planning to finally seal the deal

We are just a few shorts weeks away from the opening game of the season, and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is still on the look out for squad reinforcements.

Having sorted the defensive midfield problem by landing Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach, The French manager is now on the verge of sorting his strike force shortfall.

It was rumoured that the North Londoners are chasing to the signature of Argentine international striker Mauro Icardi over the past few days and the report from The Metro claims that the striker’s agent and wife, Wanda Nara, was in London, to meet Arsenal over a potential deal.

The latest report from the Italian newspaper, Corriere dello Sport via Sport Witness has revealed the details of the Arsenal offer for the Argentine international.

The news outlet claim that Wenger is prepared to offer the highly rated striker a deal worth £96.5k weekly, a much better package that his current paltry £61k a week deal with the Serie A outfit.
