Spaniard Staying Put, Szczesny Off Again, Striker Rebuff

Striker Shopping List Gets Shorter…

Alvaro Morata has said he’s happy at Real Madrid, and looking increasingly unlikely to move to Arsenal, meaning Arsene Wenger’s striker shopping list just lost another key man.

Morata has said he’s happy to be back in Madrid, and can’t wait to get going following two years in Italy with Juventus, and said: “It is incredible to be here again. It is a dream come true and I can’t wait to get started…”

Keeper News…

Wojciech Szczesny is looking more and more likely to return to AS Roma on another season long loan.

The Szczesny is currently back at Arsenal, but is expected to finalise a new deal this week which will see him return to the Serie A outfit once Wenger has finalised his keeper plans for the coming campaign…

Kos Rebuff?

Other rumours, are that Laurent Koscielny is stalling on a new contract offer, and that Bayern Munich are said to be waiting in the wings…

Making Plans for N’ije…

Also, The Metro claims that we have had a bid turned down for highly rated (never heard of him) Clinton N’ije. It’s claimed he chose to return to France, as Spurs wouldn’t let him join a rival, guessing they’re using the term rival fairly loosely there… #itshappenedagain
