As our winning streak came to an end against Palace at the weekend, it looks like yet another test this weekend as unbeaten Liverpool come to town.

Palace managed to grab a draw thanks to two controversial penalties, and despite a handball before our second goal, the points were shared which was probably a fair result, neither side really deserving all the points in all honesty.

However, since the City and Chelsea defeats at the start of the season, we had a kinder run of games and managed to win them all, ahead of the visit of in-form Liverpool, make sure you check out all of the latest Premier League odds.

Before that however, we face Blackpool at The Emirates on Wednesday night in the League Cup, but Emery will no doubt call on the youngsters to fly the red flag before rotating the squad to face Liverpool on Saturday night.

A huge miss for Arsenal will be right-back Hector Bellerin, who limped off against Palace at half time, and its yet to be confirmed that he will be fit again for the weekend. Happy Birthday Arsene Wenger!

Unai Emery said:

“Yes, he’s injured, I hope it’s not a big injury, but he had muscular pains…”

In better news however, Emery did confirm that both Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac should return in time for the game meaning we’ll have plenty of left backs, and Lichtsteiner will have to deputise for Bellerin should the Cockney Spaniard fail to recover.
